For 12 years Alison traveled the world as a highly successful fashion model. This career meant that she lived for most of the time in Paris, Milan, Hamburg and New York, where she gained lots of early artistic inspiration. Having studied illustration and becoming a master of book illustration Alison loves printmaking and traditional painting technics she works in oils and acrylics, water colour and pen and ink. She now spends most of her time as a painter and print maker, hand making screen printed images for commissions and exhibitions, as well as running art and illustration groups in North Norfolk. Alison is now exploring clay and using a potters wheel she has started making bespoke pottery and clay sculptures. Alison loves teaching art and helping her pupils fulfil their potential. Her lessons are inspirational and light hearted and she encourages experimentation and looking at artistic ways to interpret the world around us.
